Making Miracles

FIA recently supported Miracles Day and raised funds for people going needlessly blind from cataracts. A Miracle comprises of a 12-minute sight-saving surgery performed in some of the poorest
places on earth.

Our primary goal is to assist hard-working Australians achieve their dreams towards securing finical freedom. However, transforming the lives of people with disabilities living thousands of kilometres away – was an opportunity we immediately and wholly embraced. On Miracles Day, we collected sufficient donations to perform 15 cataract operations, and in so doing, helped towards breaking the cycle of disability and poverty. With her sight restored, 13-year-old Sathi can return to school and her parents can re-enter the workforce to support the family.
